AJIRYU'S BLOG

We (Ajiryu) went to a summer camp.8persons of Japanese and 7persons of foriegn students(Korean,Taiwanese,Chinese,Australian ) gathered.It made us very excited!!Because all memebers became a family and enjoyed each project.

We held Ajiryu climbing on 7th June.Although It had been the rainy season,It was a fine day.

Many members(Japanes,Chinese,Thai,Malaysian,SriLankan) came.Althogh we had never meet each other,we made friends at once without feeling a wall of language.So It passed good time.

We was surprised at looking at nature in Tokyo because I had felt Tokyo was metropolis.After climbing, we refreshed not only our body but also our mind in spa.

It was a nice day for all members.

We held a party in speaking English on 30 May.7 persons of Japnase and 4 persons of foreign students gathered.The party was very very interesting!!We had a Vietnames food.It was good taste.We plan next paty.So If you are free,please join!!

If you are worker and think it is difficult for you to attend this camp,we(ajiryu) tell you good information!!

Usually,this camp is 3nights4days.But we prepare it is 2nights3days for worker.Then,you will attend it on night of 29,Aug and come back home on 31,Aug.

There is no national holiday in June in Japan. In addition, all of us feel disgusted at the humidity of the Rainy Season. But, the Event of AJiryu will excite you even if we are

Dont mind if you attend ajiryu for the first time and you arent good at speaking Japanese.Please invite your friends to this and other events of 'ajiryu'.

Yesterday,There were GYUF(Global Youth Service Forum),so that we cleaned up in Shibuya.Although It was more than 60% in precipitation percentage,It was fine how I tan.Under the blue sky, 10persons of Ajiryu members(about 15persons of NHK staffs) came there.Most of members had never met each other before.But doing the volunteer together made them hit it off and friendly.This volunteer will be broadcasted in NHK at 19:56 26th May(Mon).

After having a lunch,we did Many culture's work in Daida-kumin center.This time, we thought Many culture sysbiosis baced on 'Hyoutan-jima monogatari'(story of Hyoutan island).On a discuttion of playing a role,each person said thier opinion seriously and opposeed.But Learning for this was that it was a problem to make a relation of win-lose,so that think we had to go throght with our opinion.We understanded that If we meet a different culture or race,it was important to understand each other,so that make a relation of win-win.

'I coldnt find garbage on walking Center-Gai(Center street).But there were many garbage on places where people usually didnt see.I felt many a litte makes a mickle.So I want to do small things and finally achieve large things such as the idom'by Japanese woman

'I thought my opinion was right.But hearing others' opinions, I didnt understand why my opinion was right.I felt I needed to think things from various position.'

We(ajiryu) decided to hold summer camp in Niigata prefecture!!Every year,there were many not only Japanses students but also foreign students in this camp.Last year,we went there with Japanese,Turk,Sri Lankan,Malaysian,Chinese,Taiwanese.If you attend this camp,you would make many friends from various countries!!Addition to do them,you could experience many things.For example,spa,agriculture,home visit(you can visit home of country).Of cource in outdoor camp, you can sleep under innumerable stars in the sky.We recommend you to attend this camp!!

There was OHP seminar on 11 March.Foreign student (4 persons) and Japanese (7persons) took part in the seminar.



We confirmed a concept and procedure of OHP.And Foreign students collected their experiences in studeing abroad and made a training of speach for sending children messages.This seminar made not only foreign student but also Japanase more and more understdaning OHP.

'Nowadays,I felt pain for studaying abroad in Japan.But Today,Peticipating this seminar,I confirmed why I had studied abroad'
'Whenever I take part in Ajiryu,I lightened up'

OHP is a volunteer because it is concerned with education of international understanding for children.But we think OHP a imprtant mission.Expecially we want to think OHP is a model of'Education of inaternational understanding on foreign students'.

From now on, we want to prepare OHP useing seminars or Guidebook.We look for persons which couldnt attend this seminar.

This time,we introduce our Project and members.

At first,our members are about 60 peoples.There are not only Japanese but also foreign students fromMongolia,Chinese,South Korea,Philippine,Malaysia,Laos,Sri Lanka,Iran,Turkey etc.If you attend Ajiryu,you would make many foreign friends.It is one of Ajiryu's appeal.

This is classes of understanding each cluture and country foreign students teach

◆Bright Futurre Project(BFP)
This is activities of educational support to foreign students' country.

◇Work Camp of international community
This is work camp of international community in Niigata.

Except these,there are volunteers,cultural exchanges,workshop etc
